Call for Workshops
The purpose of the workshop program is to provide a platform for bringing together people from industry, academia, and research institutions to present and discuss experiences and practices in the area of software product line development. Workshops that address the specific needs of major industry sectors such as automotive, mobile communications, and medical systems are particularly welcome.
Workshops should be organized as full-day events and are expected to be arranged on the first and second conference day, 13th and 14th September 2010. The following workshops will be held in conjunction with SPLC 2010:
Proposals for workshops should contain the following information:
- Concise statement of workshop theme and objectives
- Motivation and relevance – Why should members of the SPLC community be interested?
- List of workshop topics
- Preliminary program committee – if applicable
- Planned workshop format (paper presentations, working sessions, etc.)
- Plan for attracting submissions and promoting attendance
- Preliminary schedule for the workshop
- Organizers - Name, postal address, phone number, and email address of main organizer (primary contact, one person only please)
- References to previous workshops (e.g., websites) – if applicable
- Names and email addresses of co-organizers
A one-page summary of each accepted workshop will be published in the SPLC proceedings.
All workshop proposals must conform to the IEEE proceedings 8.5x 11,” two-column format, three pages maximum. Please send your workshop proposals to Goetz Botterweck (goetz.botterweck [at] lero.ie), SPLC 2010 Workshop Chair, by 14th March 2010.

Deadlines for workshop papers are left to the organizers’ discretion.

However, there is a firm deadline for the completed
camera-ready proceedings to be sent to the conference
organizers.
